So here are my MUST beauty products I currently use:
1) Trophy Wife x Fenty beauty ($30.00 but worth the investment)
2) Hair Store Lipgloss (99 cents)
3) Gold and Purple Maybeline The Colossal Big Shot Mascara ($7.99)
4) Clinique Stay-matte or Revelon Colorstay foundation
5) Carli Bybel Palette (roughly $22.00)
6) BH Cosmetics eyeshadow palettes (it was like $12.00)
7) Simma brown eyebrow pencil from Walgreens ($1.99)
Here are some weekly beauty hacks:
1) If you have a wig it is over bleached or the closure is spreading, use a concealer close to your scalp color and fill in the gaps with a dark brown eyebrow pencil. I can attach a video if you are interested.
2) If your wig is too loose, buy an elastic band (typically $1.00 ) and get someone to sew it on the back of the wig.
3) Having a sweaty day and want to prime your makeup, cover your foundation with with baby power. And I mean lightly dust it on so you don't look like casper...
4) Also , coconut oil is NOT for everyone. It really did not help me at all with my skin, but did wonders for my hair.
5) And if you need wigs made this summer hit up my sister , her info are the photos posted above.(all the way at the top of the post)

Hey ladies, here are some of my latest beauty tools and products:
1.) My skin routine: So let me first preface this by saying this might not be for everyone. Also skin routines vary by skin type. I have what you would call combination skin type, meaning I have a combo of oily and dry skin. About 3 months ago I was feeling very insecure about my skin. I was breaking out very bad. I think it was due to allergies, hormones, and stress. My stress externalizes itself often. Anyway, so I was using makeup a lot more than usual because I was insecure about my dark spots. So I had to do a complete skin purge.
My first skin care system: Acne Free (Severe)
So this is what I ultimately attribute my skin care success to. Now I chose the severe system because my face was a MESS. It wasn't so much my acne it was the blackheads and dark spots. Like when I tell you I was so self conscious it was ridiculous. So warning, this is VERY strong. Everyone always talks about the active ingredient salicylic acid. Whenever you choosing an acne system you want to make sure it has this as an active ingredient because it literally dries that acne out. But Acne Free has benzoyl peroxide, like a high percentage which is a highly efficient acne medicine. So your skin WILL clear up, unless you have an allergic reaction to this. Again I used this to purge my skin, essentially to reset the balance. It will burn or might irritate your skin a little, but that means it is working. Just use sunscreen so you wont get any permanent burns or blisters. I will say this cleared my acne and scars within 2-3 weeks. It happened very quickly. You can buy this from your local Walmart or drugstore. This system is about 25 dollars and I don't really like spending that much on facial care products so now that my skin has cleared up, I use a milder formula.
This bad boy is about $7.99 and honestly my holy grail. If you notice I use things with that have key words like "rapid" or "quick", because most of the time you will find these products have strong acne medicine in them. And of course Rapid Clear by Neutrogena has benzoyl peroxide in it, a GOAT acne medicine. And another great thing about products with a high amount of this product, you can fall off maybe a day or two in between your routine...and your face doesn't revert. Because as faithful as I try to be to my skincare routine I will miss a day or two, or be irresponsible and sleep with my makeup on. I also pair this bad boy with the Neutrogena moisturizer/ tone repair. Their is night time one and regular one, either one will suffice honestly!
This is about $16, and I know that sounds like a lot. But I learned that I have to invest into my skincare products the same way I do with my clothes, hair, and makeup. I love to beat my face, but I love that I can not wear makeup and not have to feel insecure about blemishes. And let's be honest, every woman who wears makeup might feel a bit self conscious without it on, but when you face is clearer you feel a bit more at ease.
Lastly here are exfoliating masks :
Now I use the cheap freeman masks and off brand masks long as they have the right active ingredients. But this Pink Clay Glow mask really has my face glowing and really pure when I use it. And remember, exfoliate before your skin routine. I feel it is better to purge your skin and bring all that acne and dirt to the surface and then use your acne treatment. This is just my opinion.
I went recently to Victoria Secret to inquire about the mask, but they said you have to order it now. I'm not sure if they were just sold out, but this mask isn't expensive at all. I believe it was at most $6.00. Not bad at all if you ask me .
Now we all know that your skin emits what you eat, so you can do all of these things but if you eat horrible it will all be for nothing. I hate to sound cliche but increasing me water intake saves me. I don't eat the best but I drink A LOT of water. I also try not eat fried foods, I bake most of my foods (ask any of my friends.) I don't really exercise a lot, but I would assume that helps as well.
Here are some pics of my current skin state so you don't think I'm bluffing lol. I don't really have any before pics because I was self conscious at the point...
As you can see, my skin isn't perfect but... it has cleared up tremendously ! Next week I'll put yall on my latest makeup palettes and foundations for back to school.
